Increase Your Affiliate Revenue By A Factor of 10Copyright 2004 by Jeff CohenI have learned one of the simplest yet most underutilizedmethods for increasing your sales revenue. It works forboth the affiliate and the person running the affiliateprogram - yet few use it. I don't understand why this veryeffective and motivational procedure isn't a standard practice.First, a brief background. I must have over 400 emailsresting in an MS Outlook folder titled "Affiliate Logins".Each has a login URL, ID/password, a word of encouragementand some sample ads to use. I hardly ever use the sample adsin these emails.
I write my own targeted ads, place them onmy web site and the email gets saved to my MS Outlook folder.Each morning I check my statistics to see how many of theaffiliate programs are performing. After I locate each onein my Outlook folder or scroll down my seemingly endlessbookmarks, I click to login and view my stats. Obviously,some programs do better than others and I naturally wantto focus on these. However, with so many affiliate programs& statistics to check daily it gets very darn time consuming.If I don't see the results I desire, eventually I give upon that program.But wait. What just arrived in my inbox? It's says: "Congratulations, you just made a SALE!"Well, how about that.
